A balanced, expressive vintage
After a cold, wet winter, spring was characterized by high temperatures and moderate rainfall, favoring rapid vine growth. However, this period also brought high mildew pressure, requiring increased vigilance on the part of winegrowers to protect their vineyards.
The summer was hot and dry, with heatwaves in August, followed by stormy rain at the end of the month, putting an end to water stress in the vines. Harvesting began at the end of August for the whites and the beginning of September for the reds, and continued until the beginning of October under summer temperatures.
Wine characteristics
Despite the climatic challenges, we harvested healthy, concentrated grapes. The white wines feature aromatic purity, balanced acidity and remarkable freshness, while the reds offer an elegant tannic structure, with ripe fruit aromas and a long finish.
