A sunny, generous vintage
The year 2022 saw a mild winter, followed by a dry spring, resulting in rapid, even flowering. The summer was particularly hot and dry, with high temperatures and little rainfall, causing water stress in the vines. Harvesting began at the end of August, some 15 days earlier than normal, to avoid damage to the grapes from excessive heat.
Wine characteristics
Despite the difficult conditions, we harvested healthy, concentrated grapes. The wines produced are characterized by beautiful aromatic intensity, a marked tannic structure and balanced acidity, offering fruity and spicy profiles.
