Origin: IGP Val de Loire – Vienne
Terroir : Blend of 3 Vienne soils: red clay soil (Jurassic); marl with fossils (Cenomanian) and clay-sand soil on flinty tuffeau (Turonian)
Grape varieties: Pinot noir; Cabernet Franc
Age of vines: Between 10 and 35 years old
Alcohol content: 13.07
Winemaking: The grapes are 100% destemmed in truncated-cone stainless-steel vats. Fermentation for 10 to 15 days with light pumping over for gentle extraction, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
Aging: 6 months in stainless steel vats.
